The Covenant Journal: A Commentary on the Church

A reminder

Covenant is a commentary on the church and how we do things and leave things undone and how we often become so obsessed with ourselves. It is an occasional paper with reviews, articles, reflections, all intended to be consistent with the premise that one could hardly find a better mission statement in both theological content and evangelical strategy than the Baptismal Covenant. For the moment, COV focuses more or less on the Grand Coup d'Eglise taking place in TEC and elsewhere these days. We have no subscriptions, but are supported entirely by your voluntary contributions in whatever amount.

We're now linked on several other websites and have a website of our own with links to other exciting and informative sources. In addition, we also feature Out of Nowhere, a daily venture into irony by the editor.

Whether the site will replace our "hard copy" occasional paper is an editorial question not yet answered. At any rate, the site is a way to offer more current commentary and responses from our readers. Your opinion will be factored into our final decision. Please let us know what you think at <www.covenant-journal.org> and also leave us your e-mail address that we might send you OoN direct. Thanks for reading Covenant however we show up. -- JLD
